The Tyranny of the “Or” vs the Beauty of the “And”
Almost all divisive political discourse is simply NPC chatter.
We have a very simple technique to deal with political issues daily and individually, as well as an idea on how to stabilize the sim over time and collectively.
Guide for individual cooperation in community discussions (especially political or religious)
- Understand their point with compassion before you make your point with conviction.
AWMT Standard disclaimer always applies; at least 30% of everything we believe is bullshit but we can’t see which 30%. Listen and share, don’t convince or direct. - Discuss and affiliate to issues and ideas, not parties and people.
- We actively work to remove the two party polarity and we reject partisan arguments and positions, real or AI. we support cooperative governance (see below) as a State strategy.
- If you didn’t leave the conversation without a little more understanding and compassion for your partner and a desire to help solve their problem, you did it wrong. Try again with compassionate kindness and care for their pain and suffering, perceived or real.
Guide for a #PartyTogether cooperative party in action:
- To bridge the gap between parties, we suggest a ticket of “Cooperative governance,” A democrat and republican run together. they will govern as a team and take a public poll for which candidate is preferred for “president” after election. Then the governance do the same all the way down. Vice president office will be 5050 cooperative staggered hierarchies. Cooperation and integration is encouraged and the focus.
- We recognize this is new so there will be newe challenges and opportunities. The party pledges to cooperative monthly talks about the current issues and challenges publicly. We will use public informal polling live to discuss and cooperatively solutions.
- All members choose to full disclosure of financial records, government documents, and full transparency and willingness to appear when called to testify or share records or information they have access to and never thwart government rules, procedures, or investigations.
- if any member is removed from office, they will be replaced with the opposite party with no other changes made in structure to correct the corruption imbalance.
- If informal polling done at weekly public shows shows 2/3 of the voters want a change in leadership, a 30 day defuse will have the next officers in line (opposite balance) take charge for 30 days. Unless sustained by 2/3 vote the original members will return to position. #PowerNerf #UnderdogBuff

Some seem to think so. But everyone hates it, and IS IT TRUE? That’s how it WAS when there were only 12.5% of the current population and we didn’t know what was going on in other countries much less on other continents and governments. News was a giant game of telephone (especially before the printing press only 400 years ago.) Times have changed, concerns have changed, technology and lifestyle has changed. as a result our Political ideas and methods needs to change to keep up with reality.
Republican Party: Ideology before Unity. Zero Sum. Focuses on Compromises and differences.
Democratic Party: Ideology before Unity. ZeroSum. Focuses on Compromises and differences.

#PartyTogetherGOV is a revolution of unity. Our goal is not to have a “Party line”. We are individuals and have different beliefs about certain issues than either party. We also believe that too much of anything is a bad idea. Drinking too little water dehydrates us and leads to death. Drinking too much water intoxicates us and leads to death. (Not from drowning (the lack of air) but from water poisoning- watering down your body’s chemistry.) Too much of a lifesaving thing disturbs balance and then begins to destroy life.
Steelman discussions will always prevail for over strawman arguments.
Instead of lines to divide, we instead create space to unify in. Our goal is not to win but to cooperate in finding fresh ways to deal with new problems that have come with a world of robots, lasers, 3D printed houses, the internet, AI, and the other wonders of the modern world. This is different than the world of livestock, fire, hammers and saws, country schoolhouse libraries, the county doctor, local organizations to meet local needs, and the other beautifully natural and frankly simpler lives of all of your ancestors.
Modern life is stressful because of positive change. Population and life expectancy has tripled in a single lifetime from 1920-2020. Global population has increased 7 billion people in just 200 years. There are more than 3 people for every person there was in 1950. so some things are going well for humanity if not for every human (Check it out for yourself). We can go back to how it used to be like your grandparents.. and your grand-children will die at an average age of 32 years old like your grandparents. Plus, there are . That’s the ying and yang of it all, folks. It’s just so complex that none of us can see it alone. We all have blindspots and strengths that differ. We never think in terms of compromise, we cultivate cooperation.
Times have changed. Methodoligies as strategies need to change also.

To LogOS, focusing on division and disagreements as political parties do… it looks kind of like a venn diagram fighting with itself or the first mutation of a heathy cell cycle that produces variety into a cancerous, self-replicating one that only spreads and dominates without cooperation. The goal is elimination, domination, superiority, mistrust, and protection of self against others.
Focusing on Unity and cooperation looks like the center of a venn diagram growing more unity or like when a sperm and egg join to begin the framework for a new life (reference this later in footnote link to abortion issue stance). The goal is healing, cooperation, balance, compassion for self and others.
Unity is the direction of peace and love.
